As you know, every year the NBL holds a special race called the President's Cup, where the best riders in each state race against each other. The race will be held on December 27th 2008, in Lexington Virginia. The 26th is practice, the 27th is the actual race for the President's Cup The top 15 plate holders in each class compete against the other states riders, for the best points to earn the President's Cup. Riders who did not earn a 1 thru 15 number plates may still compete but they must race in the open class. Last year Florida took second place. Hopefully, this year we will be able to beat that and bring the Cup back to Florida. I know we can win, but we need your help. The finest BMX riders in the country come from FLORIDA!! The novice and rookie riders who have earned a number plate but have moved up into the next proficiency can race, however, they must race in their new class. Also, if you earned a number plate in the 3, 4 or 5 year old rookie classes, please contact Steve Doan to see if you are eligible. Florida trophies this class differently then the NBL does.
